Why here?

Although untouched, the Mentawais has been a popular surfing destination for many years.

Known for its consistency in world class waves, with enough variety for all skill levels and a mixture of ‘left hander’ & ‘right hander’ waves.

How do you get here?

The image shows the entrance area of Bandar Udara Mentawai, an airport, on a rainy day with cloudy sky. There are trees and plants around, and some trash bins are visible.

Currently, Padang airport is international flights, from there it is a 3 hour ferry ride to the Island Regency.

Suzi air also flies directly from Padang into Mentawai.

However, starting this year, private jets are flying direct from KL to Mentawai - with more routes on their way!
