The Mission
Our mission is to redefine sustainable tourism, improve education around environmentally friendly processes and to have a strong, lasting positive impact on our local environment.
This will be achieved through the operation of a luxury resort with all sustainable practices on show, carefully constructed education events and diligent tracking of the environment to see the impact of our actions.
To bring this project into reality, THE SUMBER GROUP is actively searching for and approaching investors.

Our Pledge
Commitment to sustainability
We pledge to reverse the challenges facing the local ecosystems by adopting a zero tolerance policy towards single use plastic and promoting circular business practices.
Self-Sufficiency
The generation of surplus renewable energy, the cleaning of surplus water and the production of calories will not only provide for us but also those around us.
Environmental Restoration
Including but not limited to tree planting, reef protection, jungle restoration and beach clean-ups.
Leadership in Sustainable Tourism
Leading by example and proving that luxury resorts and environmental responsibility can coexist will redefine the industry and raise the bar.
Our Beliefs
Tourism as a Positive Force
Tourism can and should support local communities and protect the environment through responsible operations and practices.
Education and Responsibility
During their stay our guests will learn sustainable practices as well as the importance of preserving local ecosystems.
Commitment to Authenticity
We are placing a strong emphasis on transparency, authenticity and meaningful actions throughout our operations.
Call to Action
If sustainability and responsibility is our backbone, collaboration and innovation will be our arms and legs – this is how we will enhance our resort and spread the word.
a blueprint for the future
Renewable Energy & Water Treatment
No other sources of electrical energy or water will be consumed on site, nor will untreated water be released to the environment.
Sustainable Food Production
An on-site permaculture garden will not only provide the resort with food, but provide a farm-to-table experience, reduce carbon emissions, provide jobs for the local community and supply surrounding resorts.
Nature Driven Resource Management & Design
The buildings will be designed following the passive home principles and most energy intensive activities will be designed to follow natural processes, therefore reducing energy consumption.
Carbon Sequestration
Tree planting, reef restoration and responsible organic waste decomposition will draw carbon from the atmosphere.
